Imagine a place where hope is restored, and lives are transformed. Founded by the compassionate Alma and Roberto Osuna in 2001, New Creation Kids Home is not an institution; it is a beacon of hope that has profoundly impacted the lives of over 1,800 children who have endured unimaginable trauma and abandonment. Vulnerable children found safety and care at New Creation Kids, where Alma and Roberto helped them heal.
Alma and Roberto understand the harsh realities of the streets and the dangers these children have bravely faced. Driven by their unwavering passion, they have devoted their lives to this crucial mission. With relentless dedication, they work tirelessly, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, to create a haven where every child can call their foster home “home.”
We first met the children on March 15, 2017. As I sat on the grass, the girls gathered to play with our crazy, lovable pup. There was a sense of being EXACTLY where I belonged! As I watched them laugh, giggle, and play with our pup, I was told of their struggles and heartbreak—so much loss and trauma in their lives, yet here they were playing as children—dogs break down barriers and are so therapeutic.
They needed our support then and today we need your support to help them continue to thrive and break the cycle of hardship and poverty.
Team Humanity Baja founded informally in early 2017 and officially established as a registered non-profit in March 2019, Team Humanity Baja exists to serve the children at New Creation Kids Foster Home in La Paz, BCS, Mexico.
Team Humanity Baja supports an average of 30 children who live at the New Creation Kids home in shared accommodation. With 30 children, there are always needs. Right now, we have three emergent needs. The situation is dire, and these children desperately need your support immediately.
Playground Equipment: Ensure our children have safe spaces to play.
Animal Husbandry: Support our efforts to maintain livestock and provide veterinary care and food. Build two pole barns and add stalls.
Entrepreneur Program: Invest in young minds with essential materials and instruction and mentorship.
Hi! I’m Jo Dibblee, founder of Team Humanity Baja in Los Barriles, BCS, Mexico.
The main focus of our non-profit is to serve the children of New Creation Kids in La Paz, Mexico.My personal experiences have always fueled my desire to help, perhaps because I know what it’s like to grow up without necessities. This deep personal connection drives my passion for our work at the New Creation Kids foster home, and I hope it resonates with you as well.
Together with others, I have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various organizations such as Heart and Stroke, The Rainbow Society, for cancer prevention, and many personal fundraising initiatives.
I’m proud of that, but my dream was to go deeper and work with children at the grassroots level (face-to-face) to improve their lives and create a lasting impact.
Life is not always fair, a truth that is amplified for the children we serve at the New Creation Kids foster home in La Paz, Mexico. Founded by Roberto and Alma Osuana in 2001, New Creation Kids home is a beacon of hope that has transformed and saved the lives of over 1800 children, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment.
However, much work still needs to be done, and we need your support to continue this life-changing passion project.
Our local and global board members are dedicated and have made it possible to move from chaos and crisis to embracing collaboration, together with the success of the children being front and center in all we do.
Our mission is to create sustainable change through innovative programs that uplift these children in a variety of areas —from gardening and livestock programs to building safer buildings for expansion.
Our programs and assistance are always respectfully coordinated with the leaders of New Creation Kids, Roberto and Alma. Our volunteers are a critical part of our success: food, clothing, and money donations; helping at weekly and monthly events; clothing drives; educational assistance; and so much more.
Everything is designed to help the children and leaders sustainably manage and grow New Creation Kids and to be secure in their funding and support in the years to come.

Caring for over 30+ children presents immense challenges, but our commitment and dedication are unwavering. When we come together, we can serve at the highest level by adhering to our core values: Elevate, Educate, and Empower. We don’t just provide hope; we equip these children with the skills and opportunities they need for future success.
Every program we implement empowers both the children and the community. By continuously learning and adapting our approach, we create meaningful change that removes barriers to success and fosters personal development.
Programs such as:
See Me Educational Spanish to English – Letting each child shine as an individual.
Bring the Joy – Specialty days with events to raise awareness and create fun for children.
Sunday Funday – Cooking Classes: using cooking as a therapeutic method while teaching skill sets. Building confidence and addressing emotional and psychological problems faced by children of abuse.
Art Therapy – Art therapy, an approach used in the treatment of trauma healing, is often a primary form of therapy, most especially with children who are recovering from abuse, abandonment, or neglect.
Our diversity and inclusivity strengthen us, uniting volunteers and supporters to break the cycle of poverty, build resilience, and honor cultural values.

We confront ongoing pressing challenges, including: water issues, food insecurity, equipment for the kitchen, laundry, gardening and livestock programs, educational programs, creative therapy programs and building maintenance.
Together, we can tackle these challenges head-on.
We currently have 7 vital programs that need your support in 2025 -2027 and beyond:
The Garden: Help us provide shade cloth and structure for the summer months. Erecting structures to protect plants during the summer to provide year-round growing. $1,800.00 USD
Playground Equipment: Ensure our children have safe spaces to play. $5,500.00 USD
Animal Husbandry: Support our efforts to maintain livestock and provide veterinary care and food. Build two pole barns and add stalls. $3,300.00 USD
Entrepreneur Program: Invest in young minds with essential materials and instruction and mentorship. $250.00 USD
Little Aprons Cooking: Supply food and materials for cooking classes that teach valuable life skills. $1350.00 USD
Financial Literacy Programs: Equip children aged 15-18 with crucial life skills before they move into adulthood. $250.00 USD
The Transition House: Be part of the vital project offering transitional housing for children aging out of foster care. The building will be built on-site, and will have a female and male dorm with eight beds- four beds in each dorm. The shelter will provide an opportunity to live independently from 18-21 while working and contributing to their accommodations. Similar to living in a dorm with others their age and learning how to pay for food and shelter. $28,884.00 USD
